This article is a comparative Reading of the management of forest areas, private or common property, in mediterranean ecosystems. These woodlands have suffered several process of change in the form of property, with preponderance of private form in the Cazulas Farm- Cazulas Marquis- oriented to wood production or resin extraction –peasant versus market uses-. This commercial management was opposed to other milestone under common property in the Mediterranean world, revealing continuities and breakings up beyond the types of property.
